Seven is a groundbreaking documentary play based on interviews with seven women's rights activists from seven countries around the world—Afghanistan, Cambodia, Guatemala, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Pakistan, and Russia. The interviews were conducted by seven award-winning women playwrights.

The performance on Thursday, March 31 was a private event for a group of Fulbright Scholars from around the world whose academic focus was on human rights issues. The scholars were hosted in Chicago by World Chicago.

The performance on Friday, April 1 was for Silk Road Theatre Project subscribers, donors, and friends.

The performance on Saturday, April 2 was part of the 16th Annual Asian American Showcase, sponsored by the Foundation for Asian American Independent Media and the Gene Siskel Film Center.
